Join us on Friday October 21st at 100pm PST on Zoom for a panel discussion with the authors of three new d.school guides: This Is a Prototype by Scott Witthoft, You Need a Manifesto by Charlotte Burgess-Auburn, and Creative Hustle by Olatunde Sobomehin and Sam Seidel, moderated by Scott Doorley of the d.school.

Bios
This is a Prototype?
Scott Witthoft is an educator, designer, and author. With a background in forensic structural engineering, he incorporates that expertise with current pursuits in space, furniture, and product design—teaching and speaking widely. Learn more and buy the book.
You Need a Manifesto
Charlotte Burgess Auburn is a designer, artist, and educator. With a background in production for fine arts and theater and experience at the MIT Media Laboratory, she has been the director of community at the Stanford d.school since 2005, where she also teaches classes on the role of self-awareness in creativity and design. Creative Hustle
Olatunde Sobomehin is CEO/co-founder of StreetCode Academy, an organization that offers free tech classes to communities of color. He has taught classes at the Stanford Haas Center and the d.school.
sam seidel is the K12 Lab director of strategy and research at the Stanford d.school and the author of Hip Hop Genius: Remixing High School Education.
Scott Doorley is the creative director at the d.school. He co-wrote the book, make space: How to Set the Stage for Creative Collaboration, and was a co-lead on the Stanford 2025 project imagining the future of on-campus education. With a background and degree in filmmaking from UCLA, Scott also teaches classes in design & communication and his art & design works have been exhibited at the Design Museum in London, the San Jose Museum of Art, and others.
